Perkasie Man, 21, Murdered At West Virginia College

Kevin Figaniak, 21, was beaten to death last weekend at Wheeling Jesuit University. The Pennridge 2010 graduate was a standout lacrosse and hockey player.

Pennridge High School 2010 graduate and stellar lacrosse and hockey player Kevin Figaniak, 21, was beaten to death by four white males early Saturday morning while walking home to the campus of Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia, per The Burlington County Times. Figaniak unofficially succumbed to severe head trauma early Sunday at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Presbyterian Hospital, in Oakland, PA, per The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
He was admitted prior with severe head trauma to Wheeling Hospital, but was rushed to UPMC Presbyterian, per the Post-Gazette.
Figaniak was set to graduate next year as a business major. He was on the school's lacrosse and hockey teams, per The Intelligencer.
The Post-Gazette reported that Figaniak and a friend were beaten by men in their mid-20s. Per the report, one man wore a hat, and two others had brown hair and wore denim jeans. The group ran off before police arrived, stated the Post-Gazette.
Figaniak was an intern at Lacrosse Evolution in Downingtown, per his Facebook.
