Philly Man Wanted for Alleged Role in 203-Pound Weed Bust in Lansdale

Glendon Fenty, 52, of the 6400 block of Clearview Street, has a felony warrant for his arrest for allegedly facilitating the pick-up and transport of marijuana from Arizona to Lansdale in 2011, police said.

A Philadelphia man is wanted for allegedly facilitating the pickup and transport of 203 pounds of marijuana from Arizona to Philadelphia.

Lansdale Police have issued a felony warrant for and, along with the Montgomery County District Attorney, are seeking the whereabouts of Glendon Fenty, 52, of the 6400 block of Clearview Street.

Fenty allegedly fled in a silver Toyota Tacoma pickup truck from the scene of a September 28, 2011 bust in Lansdale behind The Pavilion shopping center, police said.

Lansdale Police seized the 203 pounds of the drug from a tractor-trailer behind the Broad Street shopping center.

In the early-morning hours of Sept. 28, 2011, a Lansdale Police officer spotted a tractor trailer in the parking lot of The Pavilion, with the pickup backed up to the rear of the trailer, police said.

The officer saw an individual loading cellophane-wrapped bales from the back of the trailer into the pickup truck, police said.

Fenty spotted police and allegedly sped away from the scene. The truck was abandoned a short distance away, where police found seven large bales of marijuana totaling 153 pounds in the truck, police said.

Fenty allegedly fled on foot and was not captured by police, police said.

Inside the tractor trailer, police and the county district attorney Narcotics Enforcement Team found two large bales of marijuana, totaling 49 pounds, police said.

Andre Lue, 41, of the 600 block of South Broad Street, Lansdale, the alleged driver and owner of the tractor trailer, , police said. 

Lue is still awaiting trial on the charges, according to court records.

Fenty has been charged with:

  • Felony manufacture/delivery/possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver
  • Misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance
  • Misdemeanor possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia
  • Felony conspiracy to manufacture/deliver/possess a controlled substance with intent to deliver
  • Conspiracy possession of a controlled substance
  • Conspiracy possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia

Fenty was found guilty of speeding in 2009 in Philadelphia, according to court records.
