Police: Horsham Man Hit Lansdale Woman With Car, Fled Scene

Horsham resident Timothy Dilanzo, 24, of Blair Mill Road, is charged with assault, reckless driving and other offenses after allegedly hitting Elizabeth Gannon, 34, of Lansdale, with his Nissan Sentra in the parking lot of a Hatboro 7-11, according to WNPV.

Dilanzo is charged with two counts of misdemeanor simple assault, one count of misdemeanor accidents involving injury, a misdemeanor of accidents involving damage to attend vehicle, and summary charges of careless driving, reckless driving, failure to yield at a roadway, failure to stop and render aid and failure to not report an accident to police, according to court records.

A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 24 at 10:45 a.m.

According to reports, Gannon was walking through the parking lot of a 7-11 at North York Road and Moreland Avenue around 7 a.m. Wednesday. Dilanzo allegedly hit her as he cut through the parking lot to avoid a red light, according to reports. Dilanzo then allegedly sped away from the scene.

Gannon was treated at an area hospital for injuries and later released, according to WNPV.

Dilanzo has eight other traffic offenses on file with Montgomery County District Court since April 2011, according to court records.
