Police Injured in Arrest of Lansdale Man

A Lansdale man allegedly resisted arrest with police outside his home, who followed him after he allegedly failed to pull over. Police were injured in the arrest, Lansdale police said. 
said they saw Timothy Owen Wynne, 44,  swerving back and forth on the 400 block of Penn Street at 11:35 p.m. Sunday. Police tried to pull over his 1996 gold Buick on Church Road, but Wynne allegedly continued to Hancock Street, turning left, police said. Police said Wynne drove home and parked in his driveway on the 400 block of Cedar Street. Police said he threw his keys out the window into a flowerbed. Police said Wynne stumbled up to his front door and ignored commands to stop. Wynne began struggling with police as attempts were made to stop him from entering the home, police said.  Wynne continued to resist from being handcuffed even after other officers arrived to assist, police said.  Wynne had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage, red eyes and slurred speech, police said. Found in his possession was a small amount of suspected marijuana, police said. Wynne is charged with DUI, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and careless driving. Wynne was arraigned before District Judge Harold Borek of Lansdale and released after Borek set bail at $5,000 unsecured.
