Police Investigate Friday Home Invasion on Willow Street

Lansdale Police are investigating a reported home invasion and robbery that occurred Friday morning on Willow Street in Lansdale, where two black males entered a home and asked questions about another man.

Police said it was a targeted incident and not a random home invasion.

Police responded to the 700 block of Willow Street at around 10:15 a.m. Friday for a report of a home invasion and robbery.

A 23-year-old man was sleeping at his home, when he heard someone prying open his exterior door with a crowbar, police said.

Two black males entered the home and displayed a gun, police said. The suspects asked the man questions about another man whom the victim said he did not know, police said.

The suspects took several electronic items belonging to the victim and left the area, police said.

Scanner reports from Friday broadcasted that the victim traveled to a friend's workplace in Lower Salford and called police.

The incident matches the same M.O. as a home invasion on the same block that occurred Monday morning.
