Police Investigating Creekside Assault As Trespassing Incident

A report came in Saturday night of an alleged assault at Creekside Cabaret strip club on Advance Lane. The alleged victim was airlifted for treatment, but for a pre-existing condition, police said.

Hatfield Township Police continue to investigate a reported assault at Creekside Cabaret Saturday night, but preliminary investigation reveals the incident was more of a trespassing offense.
Det. Sgt. John Ciarlello said the incident was reported as an assault at the Advance Lane strip club, but when officers arrived, they found that the business was dealing with a patron who refused to leave the premises.
"There was a patron there that was asked to leave, and he refused to leave," Ciarlello said. "After repeated request, the establishment's security tried to remove him. It didn't work."
Ciarlello said police were called to the scene to assist in the incident.
"The patron was claiming he had a neck injury from the alleged altercation with the establishment," Ciarlello said. "We did not have anything to indicate an assault, but it is still under investigation."
The alleged victim was airlifted from the scene to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, police said.
"He was flown as a precaution, because he had a pre-existing injury," Ciarlello said. "The ambulance crew made that determination."
Ciarlello said detectives still need to meet with the alleged victim and listen to what he has to say about the incident.
"As far as what we're seeing right now, it was trespassing complaint," he said.
