Police: Lansdale Woman Failed to Give Info Following Accident

Jessica Long, 20, of Green Street, was charged with accidents involving damage and driving without a license

Whitpain Township Police have charged a Lansdale woman with numerous driving offenses after she allegedly failed to give information to another driver following an accident on October 24.

Jessica Nicole Long, 20, of the 600 block of Green Street, Lansdale, was arrested and charged with accidents involving damage to attended vehicle, duty to give information and render aid, following too closely and driving without a license, according to police.

On Oct. 24, at 6:47 p.m., Whitpain Police responded to DeKalb Pike and Yost Road for a hit-and-run crash, police said.

The victim told police that he was slowing for traffic at a red light when he was hit in the rear by a white Buick, police said.

After the crash, both vehicles pulled to the side of the road to exchange information, police said.

Police said the driver of the Buick, identified as Long, exited her car and briefly spoke with the victim.

Long allegedly got back into her car and drove off without providing the victim with any information, police said.
