Police Release Sketch of Luring Suspect

The incident occurred Monday night in Franconia Township

Franconia Township Police are investigating a possible child luring incident that occurred Monday at 3:20 p.m. near Keller's Creamery Road and Indian Creek Road.

Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect.

According to a press release, a 12-year-old gilr told police she stepped off her school bus and noticed that a car was following her as she walked toward her home.

The car pulled alongside the girl, and the driver rolled down the window and asked her if he could take her picture and if she would pose for him, police said.

The girl ran to the safety of her nearby home as the car left the scene.

The driver was described as a white male in his mid-40s to 50s. He had white, medium-length hair with sideburns. He was wearing a brown jacket, possibly a Carhartt jacket.

The car was described as a small, tan, four-door, possibly an older-model Mercury, with a Philadelphia Eagles sticker to the right side of the registration plate. The vehicle also had a dent or damage on the passenger's side. Police said the car could have a Pennsylvania registration plate.
