Police Resolve Suspicious Van Incident at General Nash Elementary
Towamencin Township Police said a resident called police after seeing a van matching the description Friday afternoon. Officers verified that the driver had a legitimate reason for being at the school.
Towamencin Township Police have announced there was nothing to fear regarding a suspicious dark gray van seen last week at General Nash Elementary School.
Police said a Towamencin resident read a news report on the suspicious occurrence that took place at 1:45 p.m. Nov. 12 at the school on Liberty Bell Drive and then called police after seeing a van matching the description late Friday afternoon.
The identity of the driver was verified, police said, and officers were able to confirm that the driver had a legitimate reason for being at the school. There was no criminal activity attempted or completed, police said.
