Police: Route 309 Crash Occurred in Southbound Lanes

All parties in the crash were transported for treatment

Hatfield Township Police released details in the

Police said a blue 2003 Mazda MPV had been traveling southbound on Bethlehem Pike, and a second vehicle, a silver 2008 Honda Civic, was traveling northbound on Bethlehem Pike.

The crash occurred in the southbound lanes shortly after 7:24 p.m. Friday along the 2200 block of Bethlehem Pike, police said.

Due to injuries, the involved parties were taken to medical facilities for treatment, police said.

The township Highway Safety Unit is continuing its investigation.

Police were assisted at the scene by Hilltown Township Police, Hatfield Vol. Fire Co., Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale, Hilltown Fire Police and Colmar Fire Police.
