POLICE: Search is on for Driver Who Hit Pedestrian

Police are on the lookout for a blue-green vehicle with front headlight damage

Towamencin Police and Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman are on the lookout for a blue/green-colored vehicle with front headlight damage, following an early morning hit and run at Tapestry Way and Forty Foot Road in Towamencin Wednesday.

A Korean woman remains in critical condition at Abington Hospital Trauma Center, police said. Her identity has not been released.

Police said the woman was struck at 6:09 a.m. Wednesday.

Witnesses are asked to contact Towamencin Police at (215) 368-7606 or the District Attorney's Office at (610) 278-3368.

Upon arrival on the scene Wednesday morning, police were unale to locate the striking vehilce at the scene of the crash.

An investigation revealed the color of the vehicle and damage, and police believe it was involved in the crash.

It was determined the vehicle was headed south on Forty Foot Road approaching Towamencin Avenue.
