Readers reported a possible shooting and possible abduction that occurred Sunday afternoon in the area of Main Street and Ridge Street in Lansdale.

Local residents took to Lansdale Patch’s Facebook page to report the possible shooting and possible abduction.

 One reader reported that an officer told her “We caught them,” in connection to the incident.

Other readers said there was no shooting, but an abduction had occurred, with police recovering the abductee.

Michael Goldberg of The Reporter published that Lansdale Police remained quiet on any details of the incident Sunday.

Ridge Street was closed in one section, with an alley behind Bob’s Auto Clinic cordoned off, according to the article. Officers went in and out of a brick house next door to the auto clinic, speaking to individuals on the porch and sidewalk, according to the report.

Two residents told Goldberg that they saw and heard a shooting, according to the article. Police even told a resident that there had been a shooting, according to Goldberg.
