Preliminary Hearing For Chalfont Cop Set for September 6

Jon Cousin, 30, of Chalfont, remains incarcerated at Bucks County Prison. He faces numerous misdemeanor charges in connection with faking a shooting on Monday.

Jon M. Cousin, 30, of Chalfont, the officer , will head to a preliminary hearing in Bucks County on September 6.

According to Bucks County Department of Corrections, Cousin remains in jail as of Wednesday in lieu of 10 percent of $150,000 bail.

Cousin is charged with the following misdemeanors:

  • False Reports Where the Offense Did Not Occur

Cousin will face a preliminary hearing before District Judge William Benz in Richboro, PA at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 6, according to court records.
