Reported Attempted Burglary on Old Dutch Road

reported Thursday that they are investigating a reported attempted burglary of a home on the unit block of Old Dutch Road on Feb. 17 at 9:30 pm.

Police said the resident was at h ome and heard his dog barking. The resident stepped outside and saw a man, possibly wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt, run out of his garage to a waiting vehicle that fled the area, police said.

The resident was unable to describe the suspect or vehicle, police said.

The garage was left open, but no entry was gained into the home itself, police said.

Nothing was reported stolen from the garage.
