Sellersville First Niagara Bank Robber At Large

The heavy-set white male handed a note to a teller indicating he had a gun and left with an undisclosed amount of cash

Do you recognize the white male in the surveillance photo who robbed the First Niagara Bank at 209 N. Main St. in Sellersville Friday afternoon?

Perkasie Borough Police and the FBI are seeking help from the public in identifying the armed robber.

The man is considered armed and dangerous, police said.

The heavyset white male entered the bank around 4:47 p.m. August 31 and handed a threatening note to a teller that indicated he had a gun, police said. 

The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen walking south on Main Street, according to the FBI.

No one was injured, according to the FBI.

He is described as a white male in his 50s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 230 pounds, balding, wearing black prescription-style glasses, a tan T-shirt with the words "Beef and Ale" and an Italian flag on the back, and dark shorts, according to authorities.
