Silver Dollars, Rare Coins Stolen from The Archive

The burglary of the store on West Second Street occurred between August 10 and August 11 in Lansdale

Numerous commemorative silver dollars, rare coins and 24 teddy bears were stolen from a book and memorabilia reseller on the 700 block of West Second Street.

Police said the burglary occurred between August 10 and August 11.

Unknown suspects gained access by cutting a 2-foot by 2-foot hole in the sheet metal siding and inside the drywall of the building, police said. The burglar or burglars then broke into the display cases to get the items.
