Skydiver Suffers Trauma in Pennridge Airport Jump

A skydiver was rushed to a regional trauma center following a Sunday afternoon skydiving jump at Pennridge Airport in East Rockhill.

A skydiver was injured and rushed to St. Luke's trauma center for treatment following a jump gone wrong at Pennridge Airport Sunday afternoon.

According to NBC10, the incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. at the East Rockhill airport in Bucks County.

The identity and gender of the skydiver has not been released and severity of injuries are unknown as of Sunday.

According to Bucks County public safety radio, the patient suffered multiple fractures and vital signs were stable.

The last accident involving skydiving at Pennridge Airport occurred in May 2012 when a parachutist was injured while doing acrobatics and landed at Three Mile Run in Bucks County.
