Souderton Woman Injured in Worcester Accident

A Souderton woman was injured in a two-car crash Sept. 18 in Worcester Township.
Margaret A. Kelly, 54, was transported by Lower Providence EMS to Einstein Montgomery Medical Center for treatment of injuries of an unknown severity, Pennsylvania State Police said, following an 11:58 a.m. accident on the 1600 block of Potshop Road.
Police said a 2003 Jeep Liberty, driven by Taylor L. Copestick, 18, of Norristown, was southbound on Potshop Road. Copestick negotiated a right curve, but allegedly crossed the center line and went into the opposing lane, police said.
The 2003 Liberty struck the left front of Kelly's 2005 Volkswagen Jetta, police siad. The Jeep came to a rest facing east, blocking the southbound lane, police said. The Volkswagen came to a rest facing east on the right shoulder of the northbound lane, police said.
Copestick was cited by police for failure to stay in his lane of travel, police said.
