St. Stanislaus Priest Charged With Indecent Assault, Harassment, Police Say

Father John Roebuck has been placed on administrative leave and relieved of his duties at the Lansdale Catholic church, per the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

A parochial vicar at St. Stanislaus Church in Lansdale has been arrested and charged with misdemeanor indecent assault without consent of another and harassment, according to 6abc.com.
Father John Roebuck, 64, of Lansdale, has been placed on administrative leave and relieved of his duties, per the report.
The Archdiocese is being hush-hush about details, but called Roebuck's alleged actions "deeply troubling."

The charges stem from a Dec. 15, 2013 incident, according to court records.
Roebuck is free on $50,000 unsecured bail.
Roebuck was arraigned Friday afternoon before District Judge Albert Augustine in Skippack, per court records. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. in Augustine's court.
Roebuck was assigned to St. Stanislaus on July 16, 2013 from parochial vicar at Saint Thomas the Apostle in Chester Heights.

He married my husband & I @ St. Bernadette in 2001....it was an "interesting" ceremony. Not too long after he checked himself in to rehab (alcohol).....this absolutely disgusts me.

Somehow I don't believe a word you say Amy. "Interesting", is what I'd say your little story is, as is the BS accusation against Father Roebuck. Do not throw out stuff about people that isn't true. These charges are complete BS, and you'll soon see. Way to be such a great Catholic!

There sure was enough evidence to arrest him, and very freaky behavior if true!
