Teen Girl Arrested for Biting Man

Amanda Cahill, 18, allegedly bit a male resident

Amanda Merie Cahill, 18, of the 2400 block of Hillock Court, Towamencin, in the Morgandale development, was charged Feb. 24 with simple assault and harassment after she allegedly bit and fought with a man at her residence, said.

Cahill was arraigned by District Judge Andrea Duffy and committed to Montgomery County prison in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, police said.

On Feb. 24, at 1:15 a.m., police responded to Cahill’s home for a reported assault.

Police arrested Cahill for allegedly assaulting a male resident of the home, police said.

The male resident suffered a bite wound to his side, police said. The physical confrontation followed a verbal argument between the two, police said.

Police said Cahill was belligerent and aggressive prior to her arrest.
