Telford Couple Involved in Hit-and-Run Accident in Salford

A driver's side mirror on a Chevrolet Tahoe was damaged, police said.

A Telford couple were the victims of a hit-and-run accident in Salford Township Sept. 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Police said a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Paul J. Yerk, 84, of Telford, and carrying passenger Sandra A. Swietzer-Yerk, 82, were north on Cowpath Road near Beck Road in Salford Township at 8:35 p.m.
Another vehicle of unknown make or model was southbound on Cowpath Road, police said. As the cars passed, the outside mirrors struck, breaking the driver's side mirror of the Tahoe, police said.
The other vehicle failed to stop and fled the scene, police said.
