Telford Woman Admits to Stealing Car Keys from Lockers, Then Stealing From Cars, Police Say

Elizabeth Rhiannon Stauffer, 20, of Erie Avenue, allegedly stole keys from Planet Fitness lockers and then would unlock cars in the parking lot and steal valuables from them, police said.

A Telford woman allegedly admitted to stealing multiple keys from lockers at Planet Fitness and then unlocking cars in the parking lot to steal valuables from them, Hilltown Township Police said.
Elizabeth Rhiannon Stauffer, 20, of the 300 block of Erie Avenue, Telford, was charged with theft, theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property by police after she allegedly confessed to multiple thefts during an interview with police, police said.
On Nov. 16, police responded to Planet Fitness on Route 113 for a theft investigation. It was determined that Stauffer had allegedly taken other patrons' car keys from lockers while working out, police said.
She would then allegedly unlock the vehicle in the parking lot and remove purses and other valuables from them, police said.
