Tow Truck Driver Steals Hatfield Woman's Car, Police Say

A Plymouth Breeze, which sustained damage in an accident in Skippack, was taken by the driver of a tow truck, police said.

A Hatfield Township woman had her car stolen by a tow truck driver, the Pennsylvania State Police reported.

Police said around 2 p.m. July 13, a 1997 gray Plymouth Breeze, owned by a 44-year-old Hatfield woman, sustained front end damage on the 4400 block of Meadow Ridge Circle in Skippack.

The driver of a white tow truck, with blue or aqua lettering, took the victim’s Plymouth and fled in an unknown direction, police said.
