Towamencin Home Invasion Was Targeted, Has Philadelphia Link, Police Say

Towamencin Township Police are investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred Saturday afternoon on Chadbourne Court, where a resident and a visitor were bound and robbed by three Asian men and one African-American man.

Towamencin Township Police Criminal Investigations Unit has determined that a home invasion robbery on the 600 block of Chadbourne Court Saturday afternoon was targeted and may be connected to a previous incident in Philadelphia, police said.
At 12:15 p.m. Saturday, a resident and a visiting family member were home when two Asian men and an African-American man entered the home using a key and announced the robbery, police said.
Both occupants of the home were bound with zip ties and held in the living room, police said.
Meanwhile, the three robbers canvassed the home, taking electronics, cash and other valuables, police said.
Then, a third Asian man entered the home during the robbery and helped the other three robbers, police said.
All four then fled the home immediately after the robbery and left the scene by unknown means, police said.
Witnesses to suspicious activity, individuals or vehicles on the 600 block of Chadbourne Court around noon Saturday should call police at 215-368-7606.
