Towamencin Man Charged for Beating Up Woman, Police Say

Melik Argentina Flowers, 21, of Snyder Road in Towamencin, allegedly beat up a woman he lived with, police said. He was released on $2,500 unsecured bail.

Towamencin Township Police arrested and charged a Towamencin man with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly beat up a woman he lived with, police said.
Melik Argentina Flowers, 21, of the 1100 block of Snyder Road, was arraigned Aug. 30 by District Judge Thomas Palladino on the charges, and Flowers was released on $2,500 unsecured bail, police said.
Police said officers began an investigation on Aug. 30 related to an alleged domestic disturbance and physical fight that allegedly occurred Aug. 24 at a residence on Snyder Road.
Police said it was reported a man and woman who lived in the residence had been in an argument and a fight and the woman suffered an injury to her eye. The woman received hospital treatment for her eye injury, police said.
