Traffic Stoppages in Towamencin Sunday for LIVESTRONG Bike Race

The LIVESTRONG Challenge 2013 comes to the western and southern parts of Towamencin Township Aug. 18.

Towamencin Township Police said a LIVESTRONG Challenge Bike Race Sunday will affect traffic on some residential roadways for most of the day.
Between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Aug. 18, the race will traverse in southern and western Towamencin. 
The following roadways will be impacted:

  • Morris Road
  • Bustard Road
  • Old Morris Road
  • Old Forty Foot Road
  • Rittenhouse Road
  • Clemens Road
  • Mainland Road
  • Wambold Road
Police said it was best to avoid those roads, particularly between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m.
