Two Accidents Saturday Cause Entrapments

Two accidents Saturday afternoon in Towamencin Township and Montgomery Township resulted in Medevac for injured individuals.

Two major accidents with entrapment occurred Saturday at opposite ends of the North Penn School District.

At around 2:15 p.m., Fire Department of Montgomery Township responded to a vehicle accident at Route 309 and Hartman Road. The accident closed northbound 309 for more than two hours.

The vehicle was found on its side, with one person trapped, according to MontcoAlerts.

JeffStat was called in to transport the injured individual.

Around the same time, a major accident closed Old Forty Foot Road on the 2000 block in Towamencin Township.

A vehicle hit a tree and overturned, trapping two individuals and leaving one of them unconscious, according to Towamencin Township Fire reports.
