Two-car Accident Results in No Injuries

Towamencin Police responded to a three-car accident at North Penn High School a half-hour earlier as well

In the span of a half-hour, Towamencin Police responded to two separate accidents located within hundreds of yards between one another.

At around 2:30 p.m., police responded to a three-car accident involving students at North Penn High School, located near the entrance/exit onto Valley Forge Road.

One vehicle, a Chevrolet coupe, was towed from the scene.

At around 3 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident at Valley Forge and Snyder roads.

A maroon Mazda 5 hatchback collided with a blue Toyota Corolla at the intersection.

The driver of the Mazda, a middle-aged Indian woman, told police on the scene that she was turning left from Snyder Road onto Valley Forge Road and thought she had enough time to make the turn.

The driver of the Toyota, a female senior citizen, was visibly shaken up following the accident, but was not injured.

Police had traffic detoured for five minutes as they moved the vehicles from the scene and cleared the intersection of debris.

The Toyota sustained damage to its windshield on the passenger side and the left front fender. The Mazda sustained damage to the left front fender.
