Two Pedestrians Struck by Cars in Past Week

Police are investigating two instances where pedestrians with baby strollers were hit by vehicles

In both instances, pedestrians were reported with baby strollers.

The first incident occurred Friday morning April 13 at Church and Hancock roads where a woman - known to locals as "The Lansdale Walker" - was reportedly struck by a female driver. The baby stroller was also hit.

The driver pulled over in the area of Penndale Middle School, according to Lansdale Patch readers.

The daughter of the victim said her mother and her daughter were rushed to Abington Hospital for treatment.

The second incident occurred Wednesday night around 7:35 p.m. in the area of Broad Street and Jenkins Avenue. 

A pedestrian with a baby stroller was reportedly struck by a vehicle, according to Breaking News Network. Volunteer Medical Service Corps and Lansdale Police responded to the incident.
