Upper Gwynedd Man Charged in Hit-and-Run Accident

Anthony Davidson, 23, of Wexford Drive, allegedly left the scene of a Nov. 13 accident on North Broad Street in Lansdale after rear-ending an Infiniti.

An Upper Gwynedd man, who allegedly fled the scene of an accident that injured two people, has been charged with misdemeanors for his alleged role, according to The Reporter.
Anthony Davidson, 23, of the unit block of Wexford Drive, is charged with misdemeanor accidents involving damage to attended vehicle and misdemeanor accidents involving injury, per court records. He also faces careless driving and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
According to reports, Davidson, driving a blue Buick, allegedly rear-ended an Infiniti on the 400 block of North Broad Street in Lansdale the afternoon of Nov. 13.
Davidson, described as a heavyset black male, allegedly got out of the car, threw his arms up in confusion and told the alleged victim that he would pull over on East Fifth Street, per reports. Instead, Davidson allegedly sped off, but a witness copied his license plate, per reports.
The driver of the Infiniti and her passenger were treated at Lansdale Hospital for pain, per the report.
Officers later found Davidson's damaged car on Wexford Drive, and he allegedly admitted to the hit-and-run during an interview.
