U-Turn Results in Car Crash for Lansdale Man: Police
Rene Tetro, 62, collided his Dodge with a Ford Focus during a U-turn on Walton Road in Whitpain Township, police said.
A U-turn on Walton Road near Stenton Avenue did not turn out so well for a Lansdale man the evening of Oct. 11.
Whitpain Township Police said Rene Tetro, 62, told police he had pulled his Dodge Intrepid off the roadway at 5:18 p.m. to make a U-turn. He proceeded to make the U-turn, but failed to see a Ford Focus coming north on Walton Road, police said.
The Dodge hit the front driver's side of the Ford as it passed, police said. Both cars were towed from the scene due to major damages, police said.
