Artists, Promoters, Actors Invited to Lansdale 311 W. Main Info Session

An open meeting has been set for Wednesday night to share conceptual ideas for 311 W. Main St. and gather names of those interested in teaching and leading arts, performing arts and the like.

Conceptual plans for 311 W. Main St.—the former Lansdale performing arts center—will be shared with interested artists, instructors, performers, promoters and the like Wednesday night at a special information session.

Lansdale Borough is inviting individuals, businesses and groups interested in using the space for workshops, classes, performances, film, gatherings and more to attend the session from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the borough parks and recreation building.

Interested arts and entertainment individuals and groups can register at an online Eventbrite.com site at this link. As of Tuesday, 39 persons had registered for the meeting.

The session Wednesday night will gather names of those interested in teaching or leading children and adults in various art genres.

311 W. Main St. arts consultant Laura Burnham will reveal the business, building and fundraising plans for the borough-owned property at 7 p.m. Aug. 5 at the Lansdale Parks and Recreation Building. 311 W. Main St. remains vacant and unsafe due to numerous code violations.
