Bharatiya Temple Parsonage Conditional Use Request Approved

The Montgomery Township temple on County Line Road plans to construct an eight-unit building for priests on a neighboring parcel.

After a nearly four-hour Montgomery Township zoning hearing board meeting Tuesday night, a conditional use request was granted for Bharatiya Temple on County Line Road to construct an eight-apartment priest parsonage on a neighboring parcel, according to The Reporter.
Most of the meeting was taken up by resident objection over future use of the property, buffering and access to the parcel, per the report. The board approved the conditional use with restrictions that it be used only for religious purposes.
