Community Meeting Tonight for Input on Rec Center

Montgomery Township is building a community center at Stump and Horsham roads. Resident input is needed as part of the needs assessment and feasibility study

What do you want to see at the Montgomery Townhip Recreation and Community Center?

Residents and the public are invited tonight at 7:30 to the at Stump and Horsham roads to give input for the needs assessment and feasibility study related to the construction of the center.

Montgomery Township supervisors have hired the firms of Kimmel Bogrette Architecture + Site and Ballard*King Associates to perform the study for the multi-purpose center.

According to a press release, phase one of the study begins this week with residential input for the project.

The meeting this evening is in conjunction with the park and recreation board meeting.

According to the release, the goals of the meeting are to determine community satisfaction with current recreation facilities and identify priorities for future recreation services.

Supervisors will also assess the community's willingness to pay for recreational services.
