North Wales Borough Council is looking into getting a municipal access channel on Comcast and FiOS

North Wales Council has tasked Borough Manager Nate Dysard with looking into setting up a North Wales Borough cable television channel, according to Bradley Schlegel of The Reporter.

The municipal access channel would provide information to residents, according to the article.

Montgomery Township has such a channel (22 on Comcast, 34 on FiOS), as does Hatfield Township (965 on Comcast, 31 on FiOS) and Towamencin Township (965 on Comcast, 40 on FiOS).

Councilmembers believed the channel can improve communications with residents. One councilman said its “time has come.”
