Left-Turn Arrows at North Wales, Knapp Roads In the Works

Montgomery Township traffic engineer Kevin Johnson of Traffic Planning and Design will submit a proposal to PennDOT for the traffic improvements.

Some good news might be on the horizon for Montgomery Mall shoppers, Wegmans customers and North Wales and Knapp roads commuters.
The Reporter reports that the Montgomery Township traffic engineer Kevin Johnson of Traffic Planning and Design is developing formal plans with PennDOT to implement left-turn arrows at the intersection, with Montgomery Mall owner Simon Property Group putting up $300,000 for traffic improvements at the intersection.
Montgomery Township supervisors approved a proposal for the engineering work last week, per the report.
The township will be widening the intersection, as well as the mall entrance at North Wales Road and at Harbob Lane, per reports.
