Main and Wood Traffic Signal to Be Turned On Next Week

Starting Thursday, July 17, the borough will begin using the light in flash mode.

A new traffic signal at the intersection of Main and Wood streets will begin operation next week, Lansdale Borough announced.

Starting Thursday, July 17, the borough will begin using the light in flash mode. 

On July 22, the signal at Main and Wood streets will begin operating normally. At that time, the light on Main and Susquehanna will be turned from normal operation to flash mode.

Susquehanna Avenue will be right turn only when that signal is in flash mode, according to information from the borough. On Aug. 21, the signal at Main and Susquehanna will be turned off and the pedestrian flashers will be activated.
