Montgomery Board OKs $15K in Design Work for North Wales Road Sidewalk

Sidewalk is proposed to be constructed between Horsham Road and Bethlehem Pike.

Gilmore & Associates has been given the OK by Montgomery Township Supervisors Monday to proceed with a $15,000 design, bid and construction administration work to install 250 feet of sidewalk improvements along North Wales Road between Horsham Road and Bethlehem Pike.
Gilmore & Associates will be paid from the township capital reserve budget.
Estimated construction cost, per Gilmore & Associates, is $48,100.
Design work proposes guiderail be installed between the sidewalk and a stormwater basin. Relocation of guiderail to the curb side of the sidewalk would cost more money, according to a letter from Gilmore & Associates to the township.
