Souderton, SEPTA Could Sign Lease for Train Station in October

The borough could use a $1.5 million grant to upgrade the buildings on the SEPTA lot.

Souderton Borough and SEPTA are getting closer to signing on the dotted line to lease the old train station, parking lot and buildings on the property.
Souderton Independent reports that Souderton plans to use a $1.5 million grant to upgrade the buildings on the lot and sublease the buildings to businesses, much like in Telford.
A vote is expected in October.
