Towamencin Man Waives Preliminary Hearings

Michael Smagalski, 27, heads to county court for arraignment in November.

A Towamencin man arrested three times over a six-month period, including for one alleged firearms incident, is headed to county court for arraignment in November after waiving his preliminary hearings today in Lansdale.

Michael Smagalski, 27, of Towamencin, remains free on bail. District Judge Harold Borek revoked a bail notification hearing orginally requested by the prosecution.

Follow up this story! Has this thug still not been to trial? Why isn't he incarcerated?

Has there been any follow ups to the preliminary hearing article. I believe he's still awaiting trial. Could you tell us what the outcome was, or even email just me directly any new info you know or find out? Thanks.
