New Member Appointed to North Penn School Board

Cory Brown of Lansdale has been selected as the newest member of the North Penn School Board.

Cory Brown of Lansdale has been selected as the newest member of the North Penn School Board.

The board at its Thursday meeting voted to appoint Brown, who was one of 10 applicants for the open position, according to The Reporter.

He will replace former board member Steve Hladik, who resigned in June.

Brown ran unsuccessfully for Lansdale Borough Council in November. According to a bio provided to Patch during that campaign, Brown has lived in Lansdale for 10 years and is married with two children.

He graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering and works as a senior business analyst and program manager at Merck in the Live Viral and Vaccine Division.
