A New York firm is poised to audit the Information Technology in the North Penn School District for $54,600, according to reports.
NIT Inc. was the highest bidder. The board voted on the audit at its Nov. 15 action meeting.
Due to issues created by Hurricane Sandy, the district decided to ensure it had a reliable power source for all schools daily, according to The Reporter’s article. The district would also plan on buying generators and batteries to handle electricity and computer server demands at each school, according to the article.
