North Penn Ranked Top School in PA by U.S. News & World Report

North Penn has been ranked 36th in the state by U.S. News & World Report.

North Penn Senior High School has been ranked the 36th best high school in Pennsylvania in the most recent U.S. News & World Report rankings. 

North Penn ranked 1,338 on the nationwide list.

The top five Pennsylvania high schools in the publication's 2014 assessment were: Julia R. Masterman Laboratory and Demonstration School; Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy; New Hope-Solebury High School; Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School; and Conestoga High School.

Each year, U.S. News joined forces with the American Institutes for Research to evaluate schools on overall student performance on state-mandated assessments, as well as how effectively schools educated their black, Hispanic and economically disadvantaged students.

Performance on Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams is used to determine the degree to which schools prepare students for college-level work.
