North Penn Marching Knights Take to the Field

High school's marching band attends CB South's 'Sights and Sounds' competition.

On Saturday evening, the North Penn Marching Knights headed to Central Bucks South High School for an invitational competition for high school marching bands from around the state. The 8th Annual Sights and Sounds Marching Band competition was held at the CB South football field at Folly and Pickertown Roads in Warrington. The event was open to the public.

“The students spend a good part of their summer and four or five days a week outside school hours rehearsing for a production of this extent,” said CB South Band Director Michael Robinson. “Their hard work pays off with the level of musicality and performance. The program [was] really worth seeing; on Oct. 13 the community [could have] also enjoy[ed] numerous other high school marching bands at Sights and Sounds, as well.”
