Feeling thirsty?

It's Philly Beer Week and dozens of thirst-quenching events are planned in Philadelphia, as well as surrounding counties.  

Beer Week goes through June 8 and features various festivals, dinners, tours and pub crawls in the city as well as Bucks, Delaware and Montgomery counties.

First held in 2008, organizers say the week-long celebration aims to highlight the region’s world-class breweries and diverse beer offerings.

• Bring-Your-Dog-To-Brunch Day at Alla Spina featuring Dogfish Head Craft Brewery  
• Free home brewing demonstrations at Keystone Homebrew in Montgomeryville
• Acoustic Brunch with Sixpoint Brewery at Whole Foods in Wayne
• Brunch at Lucky’s Last Chance in Manayunk featuring Spring House Brewery
• Kegs and Eggs at Eulogy Belgian Tavern in Old City
• Meet Matt Allyn, owner of Voodoo Brewery of Meadville, during an event at Doobies Bar in Center City.
• Hulmeville Inn event featuring Weyerbacher Brewing Co.  
• Brew N History Tour at Christ Church Burial Ground in Old City
• Iron Hill Brewery Dinner at Good Dog Bar in Center City
