The Fairmont Fire Company has been protecting the people of the Lansdale area since 1889. The 60-strong fire force is made up entirely of volunteers under the direction of Fire Chief Jay Daveler. With seven different pieces of equipment, from ladders to pumps, Fairmont Fire Company is capable of handling almost any emergency. Fairmont Fire Company strives to maintain the standard of excellence it has become known for throughout the past 121 years.
