Boy Injured After Running into Car at Main and Broad Streets

The boy was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment Thursday afternoon

A 12-year-old boy from the 100 block of East Main Street in Lansdale was taken to Abington Memorial Hospital Thursday afternoon after he ran into a car near the intersection of Main and Broad streets. Police will not release the names of juveniles involved in incidents. Due to HIPAA laws, Abington Memorial Hospital will not release the status of the youth without a name. Lansdale Police responded to call at 3:15 p.m. of a pedestrian struck near Broad and Main streets. According to police, witnesses saw the boy run west across Broad Street from the Lukoil parking lot toward Rite Aid. I believe the article isn't contradictory at all: police said the boy ran into the car. It's stated in the lead and seventh paragraph. If anything, the headline had to be edited to reflect accurately what happened. Thank you for your comments.   more ›
