A 16-year-old girl took the stand at a preliminary hearing inside the courtroom of Judge Harold Borek in Lansdale Thursday morning and testified about alleged trysts with her friend’s 21-year-old brother that began in Panama and ended in Dock Village in Towamencin over a three-month period. Julius Demetrius V continues to be accused of 35 sex crimes, including 10 felony counts of statutory rape and three new charges of felony involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, as he heads to county arraignment October 24. Montgomery County Assistant District Attorney Kathleen Colgan added the three new charges at Demetrius’ preliminary hearing. What a silly case. Mostly because she was 16 when it happened and she consented. Granted, he was an adult, she a minor. But, the fact of the matter is, they are making it out to be an involuntary rape as if she never agreed   more ›
