Here Come the Judge

Andrea Duffy unofficially wins District Judge 38-1-18 race, defeating three-term incumbent David Keightly.

Here come the judge—and her name is Andrea Duffy. In 14 years, Duffy went from senior Deputy District Attorney for Bucks County to District Judge for Montgomery Township and parts of Hatfield Township. Duffy unofficially clinched the Magisterial District Judge 38-1-18 race Tuesday in the primary, defeating three-term Judge David Keightly. “From the best I can tell, I’ve lost the election,” said Keightly Tuesday night from his home. He said he would not concede because “it’s not like a presidential race.” Unofficial resuts on the Montgomery County website showed Duffy with 773 votes on the Republican ballot, or 56 percent of the vote, to Keightly's 605 votes, or 44 percent of the vote.
