A $1 million Powerball ticket was sold by the 7-Eleven on Horsham Road at North Wales Road in Montgomery Township. "We're good luck," said owner Pranjal Patel on Monday. "We always sell a lot of tickets, but you're ot expecting somebody to hit." Patel will receive $2,500 for selling a winning ticket. "We have good sales. We've had many winners," he said. "This is the first time we were a big winner." The Powerball money will now shoot up again due to the $1 million win, he said. "We have scracth-off ticket winners. We had a $25,000 winner, a $500 winner. One million is the first time," Patel said. 7-Eleven is at 791 Horsham Road in Montgomery Township.

Lansdale Police are seeking the public's help in identifying two teenagers who attempted a strong armed robbery of cigarettes from the 7-Eleven at West Main Street and Cannon Avenue in Lansdale on March 19. At 11:55 p.m. March 19, police responded to the 7-Eleven for a report of two teenagers attempting to steal cigarettes from behind the counter, police said. The clerk told police that two black male teens entered the store and separated, with one going to the back of the store and the other remaining near the front counter, police said. Horsham resident Timothy Dilanzo, 24, of Blair Mill Road, is charged with assault, reckless driving and other offenses after allegedly hitting Elizabeth Gannon, 34, of Lansdale, with his Nissan Sentra in the parking lot of a Hatboro 7-11, according to WNPV. Dilanzo is charged with two counts of misdemeanor simple assault, one count of misdemeanor accidents involving injury, a misdemeanor of accidents involving damage to attend vehicle, and summary charges of careless driving, reckless driving, failure to yield at a roadway, failure to stop and render aid and failure to not report an accident to police, according to court records. A Montgomery Township man is still awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges that he made terroristic threats and caused a public inconvenience at 7-Eleven at Horsham and North Wales roads. According to The Reporter, David Daniel Robison Sr., 64, of the 200 block of Hawthorne Circle, had charges held over to court at an Oct. 16 preliminary hearing. Robison is facing misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats causing serious public inconvenience, harassment with threatening language, disorderly conduct and summary harassment, according to court records. The robbery occurred at 1:40 a.m. Thursday of the 7-11 at North Broad Street
Hatfield Township Police are investigating the second robbery in four weeks of the 7-11 at 1647 North Broad Street in Hatfield. The same 7-11 was just robbed in January. Police responded to the robbery at 1:40 a.m. Thursday. An investigation determined two white suspects enter the store wearing dark-hooded sweatshirts or clothing covering their heads and faces, police said. One of the actors ordered the employee to open the register and the employee complied, police said. Once the register was open, the suspects grabbed cash from the register and an assortment of lottery tickets before fleeing on foot, police said. Hatfield Township Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at 4:15 a.m. Jan. 26 at the 7-11 at 1647 N. Broad St. Police said two suspects entered the store with dark-hooded sweatshirts and clothing covering their heads and faces.
